5. Tamarind Dhows-Mombasa

These are real dhows which were converted into restaurants. The dhows; Nawalilkher and Babulkher are authentic ocean dhows which were formerly used for cargo trading along the Kenyan coast and on the Arab states. They were refurbished into floating restaurants while retaining all their traditional aspects of the original dhows. They all carry a maximum of 70 and 55 people respectively and are only available for exclusive hire. You get to cruise on this dhows while having the best seafood on board.
