Family Friendly Places In Nakuru To Spend Time During The Holidays

Today being Moi Day, the holiday season is soon approaching in Kenya. With most children closing school at the end of this month, most families will soon be in full holiday mode. We, therefore, picked four family-friendly places that are able to accommodate all family members.

Lake Nakuru National Park

If your children have never been to this amazing park, then it should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Nakuru. The park is run by the Kenya Wildlife Service and is open on a daily basis. A visit to this park will give your kids a great introduction to the various wildlife in Nakuru and Kenya. If you are lucky enough, you can even spot some of the big five! After a nice day of game viewing, visit any of the restaurants found within the park or carry a picnic and enjoy a meal with your family in any of the designated picnic sites.



West Side Mall

West Side Mall has everything under one roof. You can start the day by taking the children around just to feast their eyes. If you want to gift them with shoes, there are up to three shoe shop in the building. Do not worry about running low on cash because there are several M-pesa shops and Universal ATMs as well. Take your family for lunch either in Java, KFC or at the recently opened Chinese restaurant. The adults can also visit the Tiki Lounge and enjoy a beer or two.
